Training Manual for Mohawk

This training manual is an aid to training, and is by no means a fully conclusive document.

Incident Report Form

Records of any incident, accident or near-miss are kept on the form in our forms repository. Wherever possible we use the standard MSQ form so as to avoid duplication., and a review of any incident or accident shall be conducted to prevent repetition. In the case of a serious incident the Principal shall contact RYA/RA at the earliest opportunity and provide details. In the case of a major Incident (such as a fatality) the Critical Incident Policy will be followed.

Feedback and Complaints

We care about feedback, whether it is positive or negative. If we know what our customers like and dislike, we can change to become better.

COVID-19

Due to the Current COVID-19 pandemic Mainstay has taken additional precautions to ensure and maintain the safety of our students, staff and the wider community.

Privacy Policy

Mainstay Sailing complies with the Australian Privacy Act 1993 (the Act) when dealing with personal information. Personal information is information about an identifiable individual (a natural person).This policy sets out how we will collect, use, disclose and protect your personal information. This policy does not limit or exclude any of your rights under the Act.

Food handling and hygiene policy

As a maritime training business, we do not serve food as such, but as a training crew we do have to eat, and therefore must handle and prepare food, and victualling within the training syllabus for some of our courses. This policy is a guideline to assist instructors, and students to handle and prepare food in the safest practicable way.
