Cancellation and refund Policy for Sailing Courses

This refund policy applies to all RYA and Mainstay Sailing Courses. It is designed to protect the students and the school in the event that a student has to cancel, or if the course cannot go ahead because of unforeseen issues.

• PRACTICAL SAILING COURSE TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

• CANCELLATION POLICY:

• If you cancel:

1. More than 21 days before start date: You will be refunded 90% of the full fee paid. You can transfer the course to another party doing the same syllabus at no charge.You can request a reschedule of the course to an available course at no charge.
2. Between 10 and 21 days before start date:You will be refunded 50% of the full course fee paid or you can reschedule to another available date.You can transfer the course to another party doing the same syllabus by paying a $50.00 fee.
3. Less than 10 days before start date: You will be refunded 25% of the full course fee paid or you can reschedule to another date and pay a fee of $100.00, or you can transfer the course to another party doing the same syllabus by paying a $50.00 fee.

• If we cancel the course:

1. Before or during the course due to bad weather,equipment failure,unavailability of instructor or vessel, or insufficient students/ student cancellations we will reschedule the booking to a suitable date within 5 weeks of the original booking.If no bookings are available within 5 weeks, we will refund the course fees in full.
